Not too long ago, I was laid off from my job of more than a decade. I spent weeks
looking for something to replace my employment but I could find nothing that
fit my needs. I searched high and low for meaningful employment but it seemed
like there was nothing out there that would pay the bills. It finally occurred
to me that if I wanted to find my dream job, why not create it? I have always
wanted to work from home, but never knew where to start. The thoughts of
creating my own employment goals and being the master of my own schedule were
too appealing to not at least look into starting my own business. The problem
was that I had no idea where to begin. I never thought about working for myself
and I was clueless about how to make a profitable venture. I was so accustomed
to working day in and day out for the man, that I could not fathom going out on
my own.
As I continued to search the classified advertisements, I began speaking with some
businessmen I know that have found success in working from home. Along my
search, I discovered a product by Ewen Chia called “Working From Home.” The man who
recommended Working From Home was a successful businessman who enjoyed
the freedom and flexibility of self-employment. His life-situation was so attractive to me that
I couldn’t stop myself from looking into Working From Home for myself. I went online with the
expectation that I would find an expensive product that I could never afford on
my income (or lack thereof). I was shockingly surprised, however, when I found
that Working From Home was being offered for free. This was right in my price
range and I could not deny such an opportunity.
I had to go through a little bit of a process before receiving the product, but it was well
worth my effort. What I mean is that I had to fill out some online
applications, which typically turns me off, but after going through with the
application process, I was pleased with the valuable information I received. Along
the way, Working From Home showed me video clips describing the advantages and
ease of starting an at-home business. The more that I watched of these videos,
the more excited I became to start a business of my own. I went from knowing
nothing about working from home to gradually understanding that I just might be
able to have my own successful business. My new-found confidence was growing
inside me and I had Working From Home to thank.
Working From Home instilled in me a desire and an ability to leave behind my old paradigm
that I had to work a nine to five job. I no longer have to punch in and out and
await my paycheck every two weeks. I received a personal mentor who helped me
decide what type of business best suits my personality and then guided me along
the way as I took steps to make this dream a reality.
